Dog walking

December 27th, 2011 No comments

Granted, I don’t normally look this well put together for dog walking, but on a Saturday afternoon after running weekend errands and checking out the sales I might end up taking the pups on a glamorous walk!

Please green moto jacket, Grey skinny jeans, Zara sweater, H&M scarf and Kimchi Blue wedge boots.

I would like to introduce you to Wookie!

We recently rescued him, he was a stray found in East LA…  Long story short; he is here to stay.

BTW, I scored these boots from Urban Outfitters for $15.00 in the clearance section! I scooped them up in both tan and grey.

Fall Pastels

I fell in love with this floral asymmetrical skirt from Zara and had to have it…

I love that the floral palette is fairly neutral making it easy to style and practically season-less.

BCBG leather jacket, DVF blouse, Zara skirt and Calvin Klein boots.

I picked up this waist belt for a steal of $7.00 at Urban Outfitters!

Spring Things part 2

May 13th, 2011 No comments

Previously I featured two spring trends I am loving now here, cropped tops from Bar III and colorful blazers. Here’s a few more styles I adding to my list of Spring favorites!

Metallic knits

Mary Jane pumps

I just noticed that all of these shoes are in a form of a soft neutral bone or pink. I guess you can say I am targeting a specific soft polished look.

Things for Spring Part 1

May 4th, 2011 No comments

Spring fashion gets a ton of coverage in the fall/resort time period. I love to revisit Spring or whatever season it currently is, when the items are available in store and main stream retailers  have had a chance to incorporate couture and designer “inspiration” from the runways into their product offerings. I just wanted to share with you a few styles I am loving this spring…

Bar III – It’s Macy’s in-house contemporary line. Think INC for the youth. I am madly in love with these draped cropped tops!  I actually recently wore one here. The hem in the front hits me right above the belt line, showing just a touch of skin, then it falls into a long drape in the back. I love it so much I had to go back a pick up a few more colors over the weekend, but here are a few versions I found on Macy’s.com

I actually now own the yellow and cut out style.

Colorful Blazers

  • Zara Blazer in Orange and Hot pink
  • Mango Jacket Brillo
  • Smythe  Equestrian Blazer Yellow – I LOVE this classic Smythe blazer, I’ve even posted about it in the past here. Every season they update the color ways and keep the same classic style. I know this jacket is equivalent to some peoples rent, and you can never find one on sale, but I still lust after it season after season!  I can’t wait till I score one!

I am not sure how many parts this will evolve into…

I know I have part 2 and 3 ready to go!

Upgraded Vegas Stlye

November 22nd, 2010 No comments

Last week I had an overnight trip to Vegas for my “day job” and I was staying at the Planet Hollywood Resort Hotel & Casino. I was indifferent about staying at the Hotel, the rooms don’t really matter to me as I would be there just to sleep and get ready to go out! To my surprise I was upgraded to 1-bedroom suite with panoramic views!

Living room

Each room has tons of Hollywood movie memorabilia on display.

Memorabilia in my lighted coffee table

The view

The Bar

Jacuzzi tub

Now I wish I would have spent more time in the room, beyond just sleeping. The only thing this room was missing was a full body mirror! I had 2 bathrooms, huge living room, dining area, shower bench and bidet but NO mirror?!

Luckily I always travel with my tripod.

My Vegas business event look:

Zara velvet blazer, MM couture tank, destroyed skinny jeans and Guess thigh high boots.
