Whether you are for or against fur… Fur is trending to make a big comeback this fall. Last fall we saw a tad-bit of fur via those god-awful vest popularized by Rachel Zoe. This season expect to see fur trimmed coats, full fur coats and jackets!

Evening Standard: Fall 2010 Fur Trend

This shoot is more advante-guard: Rare fur’s styled with couture gowns. You can definitely expect to see fur styles at various price points. I’m sure this season will bring its share of faux fur knock-offs as well!
I am part of the minority that rides the Los Angeles subway downtown as my daily work commute. As the world knows public transportation is shunned in LA. For me, there’s no other convenient way for me to spend the morning… Coffee in hand, WWD or latest fashion mag… Why waste this precious reading time stuck on the freeway!
So as I work my way through a stack of WWD’s, I came across this awesome spread titled “Olive Garden”. Olive is being seen as a big trend color for pre-fall 2010.
Shot by John Aquino,
this spread is a fun mixture of earth tones and metallics in
various fabrications and accessories.

WWD Olive Garden
- Dsquared2’s silk dress and belt.
- Tory Burch metallic nylon jacket, a nylon and spandex mesh dress with gold sequins and wool leggings.
My favorite piece is this bronze blazer.
Gives the play on earth tones a chic elegant touch.

WWD Olive Garden
- Devi Kroell’s silk blazer over a viscose, nylon, cotton and mohair top and silk skirt. Fiona Paxton necklace.
