One of the trends seen on the Fall 2009 runways may leave you a bit divided…

Designers have featured several looks that seem to be focused on a center split in either fabrication, pattern or item (see sweater/coat below). I’m not sure if the split designs make the outfit more versatile or over the top?

In the case of the Versace and Ennio Capasa dresses, the split fabrics compliment each other well making it a great update to the little back dress.
