Wedding season is in full swing. I haven’t had too many of my friends take the plunge… But on occasion I am able to make someone’s plus one list and indulge in cake and wine!

French Connection tube dress, personal vintage jacquard jacket, River Island shoes and Junior Drake clutch.

I’ve started calling items I’ve had for 4+ years personal vintage.  This jacket is one of those pieces,  every season I clean out my closet and it would make the cut to hang for at least another season. I picked up the jacket at Nordstrom in the B.P. department about 5 years ago. I wore it a lot then, but in recent years it hasn’t seen much wear.

This jacket is perfectly paired with the pale pink dress, which picks up off the pink flowers in jacket.

The change of seasons has inspired me to take more photos of my personal looks. I am trying to focus on my individual look of the day vs. trying to find someone to hold the camera on a Sunday afternoon. So I experimented with self portraits on my handy pocket size digital camera.

So… At 5’11,  I’ve learned that if I am wearing heels, its either my shoes or my face.

I picked up this band jacket off of the ChickDowntown clearance sale for $17.95!

I am looking into picking up a tripod for the camera and hopefully that will help me get the pictures into focus as well as all of me too!
