The big Trend for menswear for Fall 2009.. Leather!!
Not just your typical leather pants and jackets… but everything from shirts to chest! Here a few leather winners and losers from Fall 2009!

Leather Winners
From Left to Right
Etro: Red Patent Leather Bomber, we like a man confident enough to wear color.
Bottega Veneta: Trench coat, a classic style made with super smooth soft leather and a snuggable collar.
Unfortunately there was more bad than good… The bad:

Leather Losers
From left to right
Alexander McQueen: Leather chest vest, now every man can be a Spartan!
Neil Barrett: Brings us the following 3 looks: Cable-embossed leather top, leather V-neck and leather cardigan.
Emporio Armani: Cropped leather jacket, men should NEVER rock a belly shirt, or jacket!
There where additional hideous looks, including a serial killer inspired apron, marichi inspired jackets and a full leather jumpsuit!
To summarize, too much cattle died in vain!
Freemans Sporting Club was inspired by ideas and activities held by close friends that gathered at Freemans Restaurant in New York City. Taavo Somer, the defacto leader of the troupe, created his menswear line in 2004 and it was only natural that the garments be named Freemans Sporting Club!
The entire F.S.C. brand is built around the vanishing trade of handmade clothing. It is built to be durable and made to be worn day in and out. In the modern landscape of disposable fashion, F.S.C. strives to create classically styled clothing to stand the test of time and last long enough to be willed to your heirs. F.S.C has just recently launched a knitwear line; the perfect pairing to their suits, shirts, and shoes!

A: F.S.C. “Shacket” :The shirt-jacket is an unlined light jacket with interior French seams to make it perfect for layering. The shacket is versatile and equally at home with shirt and tie as it is with t-shirt.
B: Cardigan: From the new knitwear line, 100-percent-alpaca cardigan and the Peruvian-made alpaca-and-wool heavy knit.
We will continue to post and toast to the evolution of men!
Newly launched Commonwealth Utilities, is designed by former Armani and Versace Designer Anthony Keegan, and Richard Christensen. The goal of the line is to make menswear sexy, smart with a dash of fabulous. Aiming for a mix of “Champagne and Oreos”, the collection definitely leans towards champagne, with an Oreo attitude.

99% of ladies can agree with me that we are happy to the end of the era where boys are allowed to be relaxed and unconcerned about their appearance, while we ladies are pretty much forced to stay on top of the game. Gone are the days of white tees and jeans! We at CakeNotCoke welcome these dapper gentlemen with open arms, and raise a toast to his cunning style and flair.
Although, the downside to the well dressed man is having him out dress you!
