Marc by Marc Jacobs has previously offered his fans a sprinkling of swimwear but nothing consistent.   Hopefully the full Spring/Summer 2009 Marc line brought to us by the same manufacturer of Juicy Couture Beach will bring us enough style offerings to have day and night beach ensembles.

These new suits will be available at your local Marc by Marc Jacobs store. If you are not fortunate to have a Marc boutique near you, they will be available at specialty and department stores!

Now I, like most of the population over 15, cannot remember when I wore a Pajama set to bed. I mean matching top and bottom…

I tend to pass out in boxerettes and a tee or if it’s a special occasion, well nothing =)

But the Spring Fashion Weeks were filled with Pajama inspired looks from Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli and other hot designers.

Nothing like relaxed chic that you can now wear from NIGHT to DAY… Love it!

I swear, November will not be filled with outwear treat of the weeks….

That being said, the Treat of the week is the Jesse Zip up Hooded Leather Jacket from Mike & Chris.

Mike & Chris is a husband and wife design team, Mike Gonzalez and Christine Park-Gonzalez. After the overwhelming success of the hoodie and outerwear line, they decided to broaden their offering to a full collection. They meld chic and street, resulting in a line that is both laid back yet put together.

Mike & Chris leather jackets are known for their smooth as butter feel and appearance. The feminine touches on the Jesse, ruffled pockets, oversized buttons and ruched sleeves give this motorcycle jacket its chic styling.

The Jesse is currently available on Shopbop.com and at finer boutiques and retailers for $902. But, if you are fortunate to live or be in LA this weekend, you may have picked up yours up at the Mike & Chris sample sale for a steep discount, I know I did!

Well, someone is making money during this economic slow down and of course it’s the French! Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) reported actual sales growth in the last quarter up 3% to a whopping 6.24 Billion. With beautiful classic high end brands such as LV, Dior and Fendi I am not surprised by these numbers. LVHM credits the strong Marc Jacobs following and sales of the new Damier Graphite collection. By the way, the Graphite collection is a mens’ line, those metro-sexuals!

JC Penny hopes to add a contemporary edge to their to their currently bland and generic product offerings. JC Penny will display the brand using the shop within a shop concept, normally used at high end department stores and a first for JC Penny. Tops start at $26, Jeans Dresses and Jackets start at $40.
Of the few images that have been released, I don’t quite see the difference between the crap that Penny’s is currently hawking and the new Ronson line.
