As we posted in a CakeNotCoke, Celeb Lines: Who’s In & Who’s Out, due to Steve &  Barry’s filling bankruptcy, their celeb lines are failing. Now after filling for bankruptcy again less than 5 month after the initial filling, they plan to liquidate assets.

Sarah Jessica Parkers’, Bitten line needs to find a new home.  ”We have a lot of home offers,” Parker said. “We have to make sure that any partner we enter into an agreement with wants the same thing for the brand as we do, which is to serve the customer first. You know, it can’t be about commerce, it has to be about the customer, and we have to see who’s really willing to be that generous.” She is planning to continue her mission of affordable clothing…

Honestly, I think we are better off without the line; there are a multitude of affordable clothing lines, which do her mission better. H&M, Forever21 and Target for example, all produce fashion forward affordable clothing with higher with quality standards than what I have seen from Bitten.

Nothing from Bitten is anywhere as chic as something for the Sex and the City wardrobe closet! So free up your sweatshop labor for the lines that do it better!
