I was going to lunch a friend last Saturday; the original plan was to hop over the hill to the West LA/Santa Monica area to try to beat the heat of the valley…

I wore an geometric printed tube dress by Aqua. I felt navy and white are always great when heading towards the water.

I added the hot pink belt to give the dress a bit of pop! I topped off the look with hot pink espadrilles a white bag and gold accessories.

I loved the little collar on this tube dress… One of the reasons I picked it up…  Besides it being on sale!

Well this lunch turned into a brunch we decided to head to one of our favorite breakfast spots for an indulgence… Located in LA’s San Fernando Valley is Encinos’ More Than Waffles.  One of the few hidden gems left in the city. It is a family run breakfast restaurant that been around since 1975. If you like your breakfast to lean closer to the desert side this is the place.

Don’t get me wrong, they serve plenty of the normal healthier breakfast items. I just have an insatiable sweet tooth, that always leads me down the path to sugary coma! For that reason and that reason only, I try not to frequent the devily delicious spot!

P.S. The Home Fries are amaazzing!
