After searching for capes I found 3 that I would consider to fulfill my sudden cape desires.
Left to right -
Spiegel Fleece Cape in a Dramatic Full Cut – Available in several colors, although it is well styled and looks great on the models, I feel like it may be a bit like Old Navy performance fleece
American Apparel California Fleece Cape – A bit more casual I’m not sure if I would really be able to dress this one up.
White House Black Market Modern Capelet – A bit more on the mid-range price side, but I love the more tailored look and finished details. I will be keeping an eye out for when this goes on sale!
I went to the US Weekly Hot Hollywood Fashion Party (a mouth full I know), this past Thursday. The event was held at the new Drai’s night club in W Hotel Hollywood.

Notice the strong shoulders; and it’s double breasted with pockets! I’ve always loved the way double breasted items looked buttoned up, but it’s hard to find something that looks just as good open…

The panels are structured, so when unbuttoned they hold their own weight and don’t go flopping everywhere!

The event was star studded and the Absolut sponsored bar flowed freely. I didn’t take too many pictures inside, it’s considered rude at some of these events. Go to US Weekly, for their pics!
