I was recently given the opportunity to review an item of my choice from LuShae Jewelry. At first glance at the site, I was a bit apprehensive about the collection. I choose wisely and selected the Orca:

I felt I needed something a bit conservative and elegant for the holiday season. I was a bit nervous about the how the item was going to look when it arrived. Yet, I was extremely pleased by the speedy ground shipping and environmentally friendly minimalist packaging.

Moment of truth…

The item arrived in an elegant blue box with matching blue velvet lining. The pendant necklace exceeded my expectations. The pendant was solid and heavy. The stones were set beautifully, allowing each stone to luster with amazing detail. I was amazed by the quality and presentation at such an affordable price.

Looking back I do not understand why I was so apprehensive. Although, I do believe it has to do with presentation on the website. Many of us are used to shopping major corporate eCommerce sites with all types of enabled flash, search features and other bells and whistles. With LuShae, the site maybe a bit simple but the quality of jewelry exceeds that of many larger retailers with high profile sites!
