Christian Dior Couture Spring 2010
John Galliano showed his Spring 2010 Christian Dior Couture collection in Paris last week. The overall show focused on an Equestrian Victorian Elegance with several transitions throughout the show.
The show started with strong Equestrian pieces, completed with riding crops as props.
The next looks transition into a youthful Victorian Debutante, still with equestrian sophistication.
Following are a set of looks in rich deep emeralds, purples, fuchsia, gold and greens.
The finale featured gorgeous gowns, of course, with full voluminous skirts all achieving an elegance affluence and sophistication few will ever having the experience of feeling.
This couture woman would probably wear a look from each segment during one glamorous event at an exclusive equestrian club.
- Equestrian look for the grand ceremony
- Debutante look for the lunch gala
- Rich cocktail dress for the cocktails after the main event
- Evening gown for the awards ball ceremony….. A girl can Dream
