Armani Priv
Trend alert: The current recession has brought back the 1930′s for many designers. Prepare to a return to the area of Art Deco, Speakeasy’s and Swing Music.
Giorgio Armani’s collection is definitely reminiscent of 1930′s, but possibly in Tokyo? His love for Asian culture and style is clearly visible in his collection.

Looks from the Runway
I tired to mix it up a bit, but 80% of the collection is was the jacket and skirt combo!
Prepare for Great Depressionistas!

Not just your typical leather pants and jackets… but everything from shirts to chest! Here a few leather winners and losers from Fall 2009!

Leather Winners
From Left to Right
Etro: Red Patent Leather Bomber, we like a man confident enough to wear color.
Bottega Veneta: Trench coat, a classic style made with super smooth soft leather and a snuggable collar.
Unfortunately there was more bad than good… The bad:

Leather Losers
From left to right
Alexander McQueen: Leather chest vest, now every man can be a Spartan!
Neil Barrett: Brings us the following 3 looks: Cable-embossed leather top, leather V-neck and leather cardigan.
Emporio Armani: Cropped leather jacket, men should NEVER rock a belly shirt, or jacket!
There where additional hideous looks, including a serial killer inspired apron, marichi inspired jackets and a full leather jumpsuit!
To summarize, too much cattle died in vain!
Add Another Season to your Wardrobe…
So far we have Spring, Summer Fall, Winter/Holiday and Resort… Make room for Pre-Fall!! Somewhere between May and July smaller collections hit retail stores in order to stock the shelves with new merchandise while spring and summer trickle away and the fall merchandise is still in production.

Pre-Fall Matthew Williamson
NY Magazine has comprise a list of 23 pre-fall shows and presentations for the comming season. Some of these collections are large enough for a full season!
It has always been a taboo subject for business women, sex appeal in the work place. In the majority of conservative work environment, the slightest amount of cleavage can become hot topic for weeks! Yet, almost 1/3 of women feel showing a little skin can help them get ahead and it makes them feel more confident.

Too Much or Just Enough?
Women in creative fields, such as marketing and advertising, 48% of us tend to be competitive with their style rather than with sex appeal, with other colleagues. Us media and fashion gals take the cake! Casual work environment, in a fast paced fashion setting can only lead to a runway in the office! When your profession emulates style and having a fashion sense is a necessity!
Especially, if something that your wearing can be placed into next seasons line!
