The past few weeks since moving into my new home have been beyond hectic! Between furniture deliveries, installations and dog related illnesses… Blogging has been put way on the back burner… But do I have a ton to share…
My first breakfast in my new home…
Its funny when you move from a shared home that’s fully stocked to starting on your own… you mainly worry about the large things… Furniture, pots and pans, Wifi… You know the important stuff… But what about all the little things… Cutting boards, dish towels, etc…
So for my first breakfast we broke out the Cuisinart Griddler… It was a house warming gift and although it makes perfect pancakes it is a bit flimsy. The plastic pieces that hold the griddle down snapped off when I tried to take off the plate to wash. Normally I would have run screaming bloody murder to the retailer… It was bought by my grandma who lives in another state and let’s just say she doesn’t know what a gift receipt is… So I am living with a slightly broken Griddler.
What I do love about it is that you can put the second side down and get some bacon going too!
Back to those little things… Well in this case it was mixing bowls and we had to mix our pancakes in a sauce pan!
